Assistant/Associate Professor - Business Law, Fall 2016

Duties: Teaching responsibilities include three courses (face-to-face or online format) per semester at the undergraduate or graduate level. Teach diverse legal topics and their business applications. Intellectual contributions are expected in one or more of the following areas: technology, international law, business associations, contracts, environmental law, employment law, ethics, marketing and ADR. A leadership opportunity for an established USDA mediation grant is available for the right candidate. Teaching experience and research record should be commensurate with the rank sought. Moreover, teaching and service duties may require a 5-day per week presence on campus. Will be expected to advise students, be involved in appropriate student organizations, and fulfill normal institutional service obligations. Maintain an active research agenda resulting in scholarship in refereed journals is expected.
