Work you’ll do
As a Senior Consultant within our GPS team, you will:
Perform project tasks independently, and may direct the efforts of others
Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming
Participate in and/or lead the development of deliverable content that meets the needs of the client and contract
Use best practices to carryout business process analysis, re-engineering, process measurements and change management activities
Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements, processes and risks.
Evaluate current business processes and recommend solutions for improvements
Provide technical advice on processing technology, capability, risks, and costs
Review deliverables for accuracy and quality
Build and evaluate financial models for cost estimation, cash flow and cost reduction
Develop and maintain best practices to meet changing business needs
Provides coaching to junior staff
Manages own personal and professional development; seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of consulting skills and experiences

Our GPS team provides expertise to Federal clients facing budgetary constraints by helping them define, implement, and sustain workable improvements within their environment. Our GPS professionals bring strong domain knowledge, and expertise inproject management, business process re-engineering, performance management, and operations managementto help our clients meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving business landscape.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree
6 years of experience with system and business process analysis, data processing and process improvement
Experience using Life Cycle Cost Estimate (LCCE)
Experience working independently with minimal guidance
Well versed in Business Process Re-Engineering
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgment
Proven experience effectively prioritizing workload to meet deadlines and work objectives
Demonstrated ability to write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner that appeals to a wide audience
Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation creation tools, as well as Internet research tools
Ability to obtain and maintain the required Security Clearance for this role

Preferred:
Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
