Patent Legal Secretary/Legal Administrative Assistant
The candidate will provide administrative support to Partners, Paralegal and Patent Staff. Learn and perform various Intellectual Property administrative processes and complete assigned responsibilities within deadlines. Review forms and correspondence from the US patent office and ensure documents are handled per department processes. Coordinate routine correspondence with Foreign Associates. Ability to perform miscellaneous adminitrative tasks and projects as needed. Bachelor's degree preferred. 2 - 4 years of previous experience providing administrative support to Partners and Staff in a thriving Patent Practice. Microsoft Word, Excel (advanced skills), PowerPoint, and Outlook are required. Ability and desire to learn new systems are required. Excellent organization skills are required. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skill are required. Ability to work independently and in a team environment are required. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required. Strong attention to detail are required. Exercise sound judgment are required. Ability to work well under pressure are required.
