Labor Relations Lead
Duties: Under the general direction of the Employee Labor Relation Director or Designee, the Labor Relations Supervisor serves as the campus expert for staff labor relations matters. Provides expert level professional analysis, consultation, coaching and training to campus clients on organizational development, strategic planning, policy and regulatory compliance, interpretation and application of labor contracts, and resolution of workplace problems. Works collaboratively and establishes highly effective working relationships with clients, campus constituents, and union representatives. Provides campus advocacy and representation on employee and/or labor relations matters. May lead fact finding investigations and represents the university at arbitration, mediation, and appeal hearings. Supervises two Labor Relations Advocates.
