This role as an Information Security Analyst acts as a technical security advisor to IS. A detailed knowledge of information technology is critical to this role. Your demonstrated ability to technically assess systems and communicate complex security topics to technical audiences will assist in establishing a risk-based approach to decision making. Your recommendations will assist Information Security in defining how we protect employees, customers, and the VM brand in the face cyber threats.
','!*!This position requires a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience and 5 years in technical roles with a proven depth of expertise in at least one of the following areas of information technology: software engineering, system administration, solution architecture, network engineering, or support desk.

Preferred:
- Previous experience in an information security or risk management role
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment
- Security-specific certifications such as CompTIA Security or CySA , (ISC), 2 SSCP or CISSP, SANS GCIA or GSEC
- Direct experience defining and building processes that maximize efficiency to participants and stakeholders.
