Test Engineer

Profile

Develop test strategy for medical devices having electronic, software and mechanical elements.
Create test procedures based on documented product requirements
Direct the work of test technicians.
Troubleshoots test issues and product design issues.
Select test equipment and test tools
Develop and refine RBC’s test strategy and test practices.
Execute test cases
Manage defect databases in cooperation with systems engineer
Core team member on project
Interact closely with entire design team and RBC clients
Qualifications:
Love well-designed technology; hate bad design
Foster an interest in creating compelling medical devices that improve lives
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Technical Degree (non-BS)
Experience writing test cases from requirements specifications
Experience executing test cases in a formal environment
Good technical writing skills
Excellent verbal communication skills
Understanding of electronics, software and mechanisms
Thorough approach to test case development
