Description

This position will organize and plan initiatives that support the Marketing & Communications organization on understanding company-wide initiatives, improving engagement and supporting associates through change. This position will also advise and support project management of projects aligned to the macro vision of the organization's business operations. Report directly to Humana's Chief Marketing Officer, the position will work with executives, relaying messages, and ideas from other senior executive leaders to improve the internal functions and processes of the Marketing & Communications organization. The individual in this role must be a creative and results-driven thinker, an excellent problem solver and an individual who possesses strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate staff and act as the central **** day goals. Ongoing engagement, training and support are key factors for success.

The role will also create documented processes that increase consistency in execution through best practices in the admin assistant community. Using a continuous improvement approach to take on existing best practices to the next level, the position will establish a training component focusing on the development of admin assistants and enhance the development of the admin community to keep focus on career aspirations.

Other responsibilities may include:


Serve as strategic planner for large department functions and activities, including all associate meetings, and lead through execution

Establish consistent improvement processes throughout business area
Collaborate with executive team members to determine and prioritize business strategies and guide to completion
Be a liaison for staff, executives, department leaders
Keep executives abreast on current company climate (employee wellbeing, project statuses, new proposals, etc.)
Provide department admins with recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork and best practices
Help coordinate business-wide procedures and process improvements for maximum clarity, efficiency, and success

Bachelor's degree in Business Management or equivalent experience
3 years of experience in a leadership/management role
Highly experienced with project coordination and team leadership
