Reference Librarian
The candidate will work for Law School division for Law School Library department. Reporting to the Head of Reference/Foreign and International Law Librarian, will provide quality access to the Law Library’s collection of print and electronic resources. Assist students, faculty, and other library users with the tools, methods, and strategies necessary for legal research. Library experience highly desirable. MLS and J.D. from accredited schools are required. Formal training in the use of LexisNexis and Westlaw is needed. Training in the use of other databases highly desirable. Knowledge of Anglo-American legal system, legal and other reference sources, bibliographic description, and library practices and procedures are needed. Should have excellent oral and written communications skills. Intellectual appreciation of legal systems are needed.
