The candidate duties will include:To assist attorneys as directed; prepare pleadings; respond to and propound discovery; prepare forms; legal research; meeting with clients; sorting and filing; photocopying; and send and receive mail. Other duties may be assigned. Should be enthusiastic; proper phone etiquette; strong oral and written communication skills; self-starter; extremely detail oriented; highly energetic; ability to compose correspondence accurately; organized; and a great work ethic. Must be ready to hit the ground running and be knowledgeable in local rules of court as well as the family and civil codes. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a family law firm. Bachelors in Paralegal Studies or equivalent degree preferred.
