Shopify integration with Bookstore IMS and CMS
Hello, we are opening a rare and unique bookstore and are using Basil ([login to view URL]), a specialized bookstore desktop inventory management system. They have an automated upload solution for integrating into many booksellers, but not to Shopify.
We are looking for someone to help us seamlessly integrate this IMS into our Shopify store, so that inventory that is put into the Basil system will show up online, and anything sold online or in store will be updated. I am including a sample file that would be imported and exported by our Shopify site every 15 minutes by their server. (The Basil system will also be uploading the inventory onto other booksellers like [login to view URL], [login to view URL], Amazon, etc.) So far, on our store we have added in the Custom Fields app, in order to put in the information we need on the book pages. Other than that, it is a basic Shopify store.
In addition, Basil maintains some customer fields, so we will need to assess whether we want to integrate the CMS portion of the system too (in a similar way).
IMPORTANTLY, the Basil platform can only be downloaded and used in the U.S., so the developer needs to be U.S.-based. (We have tried work-arounds for this issue, and unfortunately cant get around it.)
