We are recruiting on behalf of our client located in NYC. In search of a Junior/mid level web developer with python experience. If interested please apple. US Citizens only. No H1-B Visa's
Our Client works with very large custom applications built in Python and Django, writing customizations, plug ins and refactoring code for more efficiency and scalability. The position requires a problem solving mindset, scalable and maintainable software development skills and experience working within a team. The tasks involve working on new application development and enhancements, cross-platform integration of data silos, and discovering new ways to develop scaleability for growing applications.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Non-negotiable:
2 years of proven experience developing large-scale web applications (millions of users/transactions)
1 years of on-the-job development in Python / Django
Strong OO development methodology
Excellent understanding of web technologies and how they operate
Experience writing and consuming (server-side) REST Web Services, both internal and external
Great debugging and reasoning skills
Linux command line proficiency
Strong written and verbal communication skills
