NURSING ASSISTANT II - UNC PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHAB','NUR00RH7','!*!This position is for a full-time Nursing Assistant II (NA II) in the outpatient clinics of the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. This position is located at the Center for Rehabilitation Care (CRC), which provides outpatient services to patients with disabilities particularly relating to the nerves, muscles, bones and brain. Patient population consists of patients recovering from strokes, spinal cord injuries, brain injurie, amputees, or other neurological and neuromuscular impairments. The CRC offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary services for adults and children.  The NA II works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and/or a physician.  The NA II works closely with clinicians to providing assistance with procedures and other duties as requested within the NA II’s scope of practice. The successful candidate will possess the skills and abilities to multi-task, demonstrate a great attention to detail and provide excellent customer service to our patients, families, coworkers, members of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team and internal and external customers.  The NA II will also assist with daily clinic operations such as patient throughput, documentation and record keeping as well as respond to other related issues in a timely manner to ensure efficient and effective clinic operations.  We are looking for an experienced, energetic, patient-centered team member with a positive attitude. This unit will foster an environment that values diversity, team work, open communication, while proving exceptional service.   This position is Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm.   ','!*!High School diploma or GED. Listed as Nursing Assistant II with the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Listed as Nursing Assistant I with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Six (6) months related nursing assistant experience required.
