Responsibilities: Providing leadership and strategic direction to the activities of the Dean of Students Office. Setting Student Affairs policies and being responsible for discipline and crisis response for students. Maintaining a regular schedule of student appointments and advising on a wide range of topics including Law School policies, academic concerns, registration requirements, financial aid, disability accommodations, harassment concerns, leaves of absence, and other personal issues. Managing the Student Affairs staff and also functioning as a member of the student services team. Working closely with the Offices of Admissions and Career Services to ensure delivery of consistent and coordinated student support. Collaborating with all administrative units in the Law School is an essential component of the job. Serving at the University level on Student Affairs-related task forces, standing committees, and advisory groups, and participating in the ongoing development and evaluation of University-wide student policies, services, and systems. Other responsibilities as directed by the Law School Dean.
