Developer needed to help create a travel website
We would like to create a website to help people in the US plan trips to the Maldives.
I found this template ([login to view URL]) that I think could work really well with some modifications and a tropical vibe. Ive also mocked up this landing page ([login to view URL]) to show key aspects for the resort pages. The landing page needs more styling but the key sections are on it.
The following functionalities will be key to the website: matching a visitor to resort listings based on inputs they provide and having a way to have the resorts that are paying for ads appear above those that are not in the search results. Theyll need to have a sponsored tag of some sort the way Google shows the ad tag for search ads.
Quick example: Lets say Im planning my honeymoon and am trying to find the best resort. Id be able to select the following inputs (categories or tags) to get the list of results I should be looking at: honeymoon, adults-only, motorized activities, etc.
Im looking to get the homepage and one resort landing page up by September 10th. My team can help populate all the information for the resort landing pages down the line if we build it on WordPress.
Upon successful completion of this project, there will be an opportunity to continue working with us for phase 2 (i.e. the blog/news section) for additional compensation.
