Profile

Our large media client is looking for an iOS Developer for a 6 contract opportunity in San Francisco.
Responsibilities
The iOS Applications Engineer will be responsible for developing embedded iOS applications with industry-leading rich media interfaces and responsive user interactions, as well as tight communication with server using a combination of industry standards and a proprietary communication protocols. Candidate will develop, test, and release new features as well as maintain existing ones in a fast-moving, agile, test-driven development environment, adapting to new technologies and platforms quickly as needed.
Required Skills
5 years programming experience Expert-level object-oriented programming skills iOS or Mac OS X development experience Experience with threading Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to generate concrete engineering requirements from initial high concepts, and drive features to completion Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithm complexity analysis Experience in performance analysis and optimization Experience working with client-server architecture Experience developing consumer-facing entertainment software Highly self-motivated and directed Keen attention to detail Embedded software development experience
Preferred Skills
Experience in OS kernel and device-driver development Experience working with remote teams Experience delivering living room entertainment software
Education
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
