The HCS Business Development Officer Senior is responsible for managing prospects through the sales and contract cycles and transitioning prospects to the Implementation and Client Experience teams, as appropriate. The level of integration required to fulfill the requirements of a group transitioning from a prospect to a client will drive the precise duties of the Senior HCS Business Development Officer Senior during the implementation and hand off to Client Experience for ongoing support. Specifically, the HCS Business Development Officer Senior will:u003cbr/u003e-Establish a prospect call plan to identify and generate qualified leads within the established target entities in the appropriate distribution channels which could include Health Plans, Third Party Administrators (Benefits and Medical), Software/Technology companies, Private/Public Exchanges, Employers, Brokers, etc.). The initial group of prospects may change as the market continues to evolve and as the need arises.u003cbr/u003e-Solicit, coordinate internally and respond to Request for Proposals to obtain new HSA, Multi-purpose debit card, virtual payment and other healthcare payment related business opportunities.u003cbr/u003e-Prepare and report business activity diligently in the form of a pipeline or CRM system to provide transparency throughout the HCS team.u003cbr/u003e-Participate in the development of the strategy and provide expert-level opinion about channel development, products and services offered and general market information.u003cbr/u003e-Prepare and present proposals to HCS prospects and clients.u003cbr/u003e-Assist other UMB lines of business, when appropriate, with healthcare payment discussions between UMB and non-UMB HCS clients (Ex: Commercial, Treasury, etc.).u003cbr/u003e-Provide an appropriate level of support to internal teams such as Implementation and Client Experience, as prospects transition to customers. Specific tasks and activities will vary depending on the level of integration required, allowable timeframe, internal resource availability and other factors. General handoff steps for the HCS Business Development Consultant will include completing the prospect profile / onboarding form(s) to include all information relevant to the new client, products/services to be provided, and requirements to ensure the HCS Associates who will be involved with implementation and ongoing support receive a complete knowledge transfer. u003cbr/u003e-Assume the role of project sponsor for the new client.
