If selected, you will join a successful, collaborative team of software engineers building sophisticated applications utilizing C# .NET, SQL Server 2008, and industry-leading tools including QTP and Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010. Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust and scalable test plans for software product applications for market scale or large-scale proprietary software applications.
Deliver completed test plans and test results for the feature component as scheduled.
Write individual test cases and perform tests for each function for the feature component that effectively exercises the code and surfaces bugs or design issues. Testing approach conforms to group testing standards, is consistent, thorough and meets schedule and quality expectations.
Enter clear and concise bug reports with detailed, accurate reproduction steps.
Work with business, development and QA teams to correctly prioritize test cases based on criticality.
Understand test automation and be able to build scripts without guidance. This includes working with complex configuration environments, build servers, virtual labs, generalizing tools to accommodate multiple languages and architectures, integrating test automation, and assuring that tools and processes scale to accommodate the evolving needs of our diverse teams.
Work under minimal supervision on complex projects and assists less experienced peers.
Requirements:
6 years experience creating, managing, and executing test plans and acceptance cases for data driven windows applications at both the feature and product level.
3 years experience C# or VB coding experience.
3 years experience developing QTP or Coded UI tests to automate user interface testing.
Recent experience using TFS and Test Manager
Knowledge of database design, development, and testing, with recent relevant work experience.
Good understanding of object oriented application design, design patterns, and application development processes and practices with a focus on reusability.
BS degree in computer science, software design, engineering, information systems, related fields, or comparable experience.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience with MS Team Foundation Server/Team Edition is a plus.
