Duties: Responsibility for the solicitation of individual gifts for **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. from its natural constituency and beyond ($500K-$5,000K). Will be charged to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward 150 to 200 prospects for Case. Direct face-to-face cultivation, solicitation and stewardship, of outright endowment and planned gifts to the university. Functioning as part of a university development team, will be expected to work collegially, and in partnership, with central and school-based colleagues. Will assist in overseeing the university's national fund raising programs and will offer counsel to the schools in planning and implementing their planned giving programs. Plan strategies for the cultivation and solicitation of gifts; plan gift strategies in conjunction with senior staff. Prepare illustrations of proposed planned gifts. Prepare or review documentation for completed planned gifts, including required tax reporting. Responsible for building an on-going portfolio of alumni and friends, volunteers and alumni leadership. Plan and implement the university's overall planned giving marketing strategies as a means of communicating with our stakeholders including the use of direct mail, e-mail and the internet. Working in close association with various development directors, this position will have full responsibility for soliciting assigned gift prospects. Coordinate and participate in endowment and planned gift solicitations by working closely with the central and school development officers. Assist with the staffing of planned giving events, running screening programs and eventually providing staff support for regional volunteer leadership recruited to further the university's overall and development goals. Through life income gift administration and legacy society activities, maintain and expand relationships with prior planned giving donors and beneficiaries; conduct associated stewardship; and cultivate new gifts from these individuals. Prepare the newsletter/soft marketing piece that accompanies each calendar quarter's income distributions from gift annuities and charitable remainder trusts. Prepare occasional newsletters to legacy society members.
