Description
The Server QA Engineer will be responsible for maximizing quality assurance project
Job Duties and Experience:
Ha
ve a hands on approach to QA processes, test strategies & plans
Develop QA tools and processes for complex, very highly scalable distributed systems.
Build QA Automation platforms (tools, technologies and processes) with the goal of 100% automated testing and reduction of regression test cycles.
Introduction of quality initiatives and standards that heighten the overall quality threshold
Assist in creating the QA project toolkit (e.g. templates for requirements traceability, test plans, cycles, cases, scripts and standardized reports, such as a root-cause bug report and a test execution progress report), and training project leadership on toolkit practices and deliverables.
Provide subject matter expert knowledge on Quality Assurance software, tools, and best practices
Work closely with cross-functional organizations, project teams and clients to develop project schedules, execute test plans and cases and deliver high quality products
Requirements:
B
achelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of relevant QA experience.
Strong knowledge of QA processes including handling QA for highly agile development.
4 years Backend testing
Experience with distributed system testing, automated testing
Experience CI based QA processes
E
xperience in building and managing large centralized QA teams.
Proficient in QA metrics and monitoring projects based on these metrics
Very proficient with QA Automation and QA Automation tools and methodologies.
Solid background of core engineering processes and challenges. Good background of Java & J2EE based systems.
Experience with doing QA for highly scalable, distributed and high performance systems.
Hands-on experience developing, implementing QA processes and methodologies
Passion for developing, implementing test plans, test cases and performing testing
