CNA/HHA/PCA Certification qualifies you for more cases but not necessary to begin
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide companionship and social support
Assists clients in bathing, dressing, and grooming
Helps patients care for themselves by teaching use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
Monitors client condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise and including information in daily reports
May help family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and reposition the patient.
Meal prep, light housekeeping, some shopping & running errands
