Bering Global Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking a qualified Technical Security Engineer in Rosslyn, VA., to support the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) Treasury Information Processing Support Services (TIPSS-4) Customer Account Data Engine 2 (CADE 2) TS2 Cybersecurity Delivery Team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides SME support for the research and implementation of security engineering tools and emerging technologies
Provides SME support for penetration testing, Code Reviews and Vulnerability tests
Supports DB Security activities is secure and in compliance with FISMA
Manages staff to ensure privacy is addressed in all CADE 2 products and all data stores are compliant with applicable statutes
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
CISSP, Security , Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and as a Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
IRS Security Awareness, Disclosure, and UNAX.
Splunk Fundamentals and Splunk Administration
Preferred
7 plus years at IRS supporting cybersecurity

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

No supervisory responsibilities.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
