New opening due to internal promotion. This is a key position in this large service and repair operation. Primary responsibility for dispatching to 20 technicians based upon their individual skill sets, monitoring workflow, parts availability and promised completion time. This job is not for the faint at heart. Requires high level of automotive mechanical and technical knowledge, ability to multi-task constantly and turn on a dime when the situation calls for it. Constant interaction with just about every department in the store, especially the service advisors, techs, parts department and cashier. Must maintain minute by minute work in progress status using ADP and Excel spreadsheets. Time management is of the essence.
