Home Instead Home Health Aide (HHA) and Personal Care Aide (PCA) provides health care tasks, personal hygiene services, housekeeping tasks, and other related support services essential to the client's health. They assist with:
meal preparation, diet modification, and eating
personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming
toileting and cleansing
transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
medication and appointment reminders
routine skin care
prescribed exercise programs
light housekeeping
errands and appointments
companionship
Assignments are on the east side of Monroe county including the towns of Pittsford, Perinton, Penfield, Webster, East Rochester, Brighton, Henrietta, Victor, and the east side of the city of Rochester.
Job Requirements
Successful completion of an approved training program in HHA
Successful completion of competency skills assessment standard
Preferred high school diploma or equivalency
Favorable pre-employment requirements including health and drug screening and criminal background check
Valid driver's license and insured vehicle
