All are board certified or board eligible. We are recognized as both a Certified Stroke and Chest Pain Center by The Joint Commission as well as by the Society of Chest Pain Centers.

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed treatment programs for the rehabilitation of speech, language, cognitive and oral motor disorders.
 
TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center is currently looking for a PRN Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
 
SHIFT: PRN
 
Responsibilities:

The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing therapeutic intervention, education and recommendations to inpatient rehabilitation patients. 
The clinician will organize and implement speech therapy programs to restore function and prevent disability following disease, injury or surgery.
This position requires proficiency in acute care, video-swallow studies, Passi-Muir valve experience, and outpatient services, to patients with ages ranging from infant to geriatric. 
Responsibilities also include maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice, while providing the highest quality healthcare that is patient oriented, advanced in technology, cost effective and with care and compassion.
The hospital mission and vision will be insured by the integration of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and through the coordination of case management, social work and the ancillary departments in the hospital and community. ','!*! Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
Must be currently licensed by the state as a Speech Language Pathologist
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider required.
Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting required.
Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
