Part-time Social Media Assistant ($15-20 / Hr)
Seeking a social media assistant to manage US side social media platforms including: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok etc in San Diego, California.
This is a paid position, entry-level, part-time.
We can start 20-24 hours per week, and can be developed into a full-time position if you are great!
You do NOT need to have years of senior experience, but you MUST share the same level of passion for content creation, driving social community, and building connections on a global scale.
I run a boutique consultancy company devoted towards advising sustainable fashion, home & living, healthy consumer food & wellness brands to develop a global strategy.
I work between the US & China, and travel globally most of time (well, not recently due to the pandemic…)
At the same time, I am planning to build up my personal social accounts as a ’style & wellness’ influencer (right now I have 7K followers on Instagram, 80K follower on China Weibo).
I am looking forward to working really closely with a young talent who understands social media metrics & algorithms on the US side (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.) to help me grow both my company & personal accounts.
Remote work is ok during this sensitive time, however in person is required to have weekly brief meeting, brain storming session & shooting photos/video with me for a couple hours each week once CDC guidance allows.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience building social media campaigns is a huge plus
- Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok etc.
- Basic Adobe experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, Video editing)
- Photography/Videography skill is a plus
Scope of Work:
- Manage social media (content schedule, engagement, creative direction, etc.) for two accounts: my consultancy account & my personal account
- Shoot content with me once per week based on campaign flow
- Curate UGC campaigns, contests, etc.
- Coordinate community interactions and events
- Market research and implementation of new ideas
Other Skills:
- A Creative Mind is a must!
- Resourcefulness, be able to identify, research and utilize multiple tools to execute on new campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative personality, strong team player
- Self motivation, attention to details and ability to multitask
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for learning
- Proven ability to work independently
- Proactively identify problems and solutions
