SUMMARY
Global Technical Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME).  The successful candidate will provide full range of knowledge and experience with aircraft or commodities maintenance (field and/or depot level) processes, policy, and related IT systems.  A candidate who also has low observable technology experience would get special consideration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are

Responsible for informing and coordinating activities and stakeholders (functional and IT) through the IT system consolidation process.  The consolidation process evaluates IT systems of similar capability with the goal to reduce the overall number and cost of IT systems within the Air Force’s logistics IT portfolio. Based on analysis, a target system or systems will be selected as the host(s) to consolidate capability of all systems within the cluster.  The Maintenance SME will also keep headquarters management and senior leaders informed of progress and make recommendations as to courses of action.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
10 years of USAF Aircraft and/or Depot Maintenance experience
Bachelor’s degree
Must be a US Citizen​
Must have or be able to attain a SECRET security clearance
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent problem-solving, communication, organization, analytical and interpersonal skills  
Must be able to work and collaborate in group environments
High initiative, self-motivation and drive to achieve objectives
Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment
Ability to quickly learn new concepts
Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently
Preferred
Aircraft low observable technology experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be borne by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 
Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting.  Typical work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). Job may require additional hours. Work hours may change at Management’s discretion with or without prior notice.  Travel (local and continental United States) may be required at the determination of the USAF.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a non-supervisory position
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
