Duties: Participate in client interviews. Identify, organize and analyze pertinent medical records. Prepare a chronology, timeline or other summaries of documentation in medical records. Conduct medical literature searches and assist in other research. Identify applicable standards of care. Identify, screen and facilitate review by expert witnesses. Draft or analyze medical portions of documents. Educate attorneys and clients regarding relevant medical issues. Participate in case management and case strategy discussions. Assist counsel with preparation for and support during deposition, trial or ADR. Assists Executive Directors and Chief Risk Officer and Senior Counsel regarding Quality of Care, grievances, potentially compensable events, and analysis of corrective actions. Coordinate discovery requests, interviews, and other litigation support services with legal counsel. Other duties as assigned.
