Senior Security Engineer required to manage and maintain the day to day security operations and system change lifecycle of our critical security devices, tools & services. Role will primarily involve responsibility for maintenance, operation & lifecycle management of remote access services and associated components. 
The ideal candidate will provide Senior technical support for all perimeter security devices in region whilst providing leadership & mentoring to junior team members.
  
Essential Job Functions 
  

Reporting to Regional/Global technology lead, candidate will:

Manage, maintain configuration/ availability and system lifecycle of key perimeter/internal security devices
Maintain system documentation and versioning. 
Responding to severity incidents & alerts.
Coordinate junior members in, and lead engagement in troubleshooting activities
Commit to personal/professional development during tenure.
The following is a list (not extensive) of areas where the successful candidate will be expected to have levels of ownership/expertise:

IP Address Management (IPAM)
DNS Management
Firewall policy maintenance
Firewall base line security
Monitoring/Metrics and device health
IDS/IPS management
Web Proxy management
Provide proactive fault management and vendor engagement
Perimeter Hygiene
Network Security
Desktop/Client side configuration
ID  & Access Management
Remote support activitiesPhysical Actions

Education Requirements  
  


Bachelor's Degree Computer Science / Information Security or equivalent
Desired Industry Professional Certifications:
CISA, CISM, CISSP
 
Experience Requirements


5 years professional experience managing/supporting enterprise  firewall/security environments
Prior experience working in similar role for global organization - ideally as a lead/senior technology position.
Demonstrable experience of working with managed security services & vendor management
Track record of large scale IT Security / Infrastructure implementation project management
Exposure in Identity and Access management (IAM) area.
Knowledge/Experience in: IDS/IPS, IPAM/DNS, Proxy Administration.

Special Skill Requirement 
  

KNOWLEDGE:

Good understanding of IT Security practices, methodologies, tools, mechanisms and trends
To be able to communicate and write high quality reports in English
Strong integrity and highly ethical
 
Desired Professional Technical Qualifications:

Cisco: CCNA, CCDA, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCNP Routing & Switching, CCDP. CCIE.
Microsoft: MCSA, MCSA,MCSD / MCITP
 
TECHNICAL

Wide troubleshooting skills; network level, software configuration, log interpretation, etc.
Project management & Organizational Discipline.
Good understanding of security operations and service management concepts.
Security Assessments and/or penetration testing
Vulnerability management
Software deployment
