Description
The Infrastructure Architect 2 (DR Solutions Engineer) designs and develops IT infrastructure architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Infrastructure Architect 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
Responsibilities
Supports development and deployment of DR solutions and strategies to ensure that Humana IT functions are restored consistent with Business Impact Analysis tier objectives.
The DR Solutions Engineer implements the organization's DR strategy from a technical perspective, including design, planning, integration, maintenance and support of DR solutions.
Collaborate with DR team on implementation of DR solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders across organization to ensure consistent application and correct utilization of DR solutions.
Collaborates with product managers and engineers to develop specifications for new DR solutions.
Develop disaster and cyber recover plans for new and existing applications.
Facilitate disaster and cyber recovery testing.
Manage support vendors as needed
Required Qualifications
6 years of infrastructure engineering experience
4 years of vendor management experience
Working knowledge of network, server, storage, and common IT services concepts
Experience integrating new technologies with existing technologies
Experience developing disaster recovery solutions
2 years of VMware experience
Working knowledge of mainframe and AIX platforms
Experience with Zerto, VMware Site Recovery Manager, Rubrik, Dell Data Domain, Dell Avamar and Microsoft SQL Server
Proficient in Visio, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Preferred Qualifications
Disaster Recover Institute - Certified Business Continuity Professional or equivalent
Experience with Azure cloud services
