Deputy Title IX Coordinator - Student Reports
The candidate for student reports has the primary role of investigating reports of student-on-student sex discrimination and assisting the Title IX Coordinator in overseeing the day-to-day compliance with University policies, procedures, and practices related to reducing and responding to sex discrimination. This includes, but is not limited to ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws related to Title IX, the Clery Act, VAWA, and FERPA. Function as the investigator on all student on student cases of sexual misconduct, involving undergraduate students, according to University policies. Provide data management in following areas: individual case tracking, case file management, annual review of sexual misconduct reports, and accurate records of compliance and response efforts. Provide campus trainings for students and assist with overall Title IX training efforts. Assist Title IX Coordinator with prevention efforts and programming. Serve on committees such as the Title IX Advisory Committee and represent **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. in local, state, or regional conferences related to Higher Education/Title IX. Assist in working with appropriate offices such as Risk Management, Sewanee Police, and Dean of Students Office to provide information for reporting requirements and compliance efforts. Maintain current knowledge of Title IX compliance requirements and best practices for investigations and resolution processes. Performance of the essential duties of this position is dependent upon independent ingenuity and developmental efforts.
