Tax Director
The candidate will lead and manage multiple tax engagements to deliver quality tax services to the clients. Manage and review complex ASC 740 / FIN 48 engagements with SEC and large private companies. Build new and existing client relationships and demonstrate interest and knowledge of client’s business. Perform research, develop and implement strategies, and draft memoranda on complex tax issues. Contribute to the development of your own and the teams technical acumen. Review partnership and corporate tax returns. Manage compliance engagements, from budgeting to scheduling to managing staff. Train and supervise staff, review and evaluate their work. Make suggestions to help improve efficiencies, within department and on engagements. BS and/or Master’s degree in Accounting is required. Must be CPA or JD. Should have 10+ years relevant experience which can include industry experience.
