Senior Data Protection Program Manager
The candidate will take a leading role in cross-functionally developing internal controls and business processes/procedures with the legal team and other business partners (e.g. IT, Security, Human Resources, Sales, Marketing, and Products) that enable Firm’s compliance with its global data protection obligations. Will promote best practices in the areas of the privacy and security of customer, employee, partner and vendor personal information. Help build a common control framework to manage Firm’s data protection programs, including the laws of the US, EMEA, APAC, and AMER. Manage key compliance frameworks, such as Privacy Shield, BCRs, and APEC CBPR. Develop program requirements, detail the relevant scope, and estimate required resources and budgetary needs. Lead critical process initiatives and manage third-party contracts. Establish and handle processes and tools for documenting and tracking compliance. Help develop a data protection audit program. Provide ongoing management, content development, and oversight of intranet resource center for privacy and security. Provide ongoing management, content development and oversight of program resources, including corporate trainings and intranet resources that highlight legal obligations and company standards. Form strong working relationships with industry peers. Flexibly assist in other areas of concern to Firm’s dynamic legal team.
