Database Developer

Profile

Responsible for converting customer financial, HR and payroll data from various systems.
BS in computer science, with minimum 5 years of experience developing complex SQL operations, preferably using MS SQL, or PL SQL
Experience with relational database structures and design
Experience with database conversions/migrations
Experience with various types of relational databases
Experience implementing large scale systems with local, state government entities
Experience with LOB applications, particularly Financial/HR/Payroll systems
Advanced knowledge of Excel
Excellent conceptual, problem solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to work closely with non-technical users and translate user requirements to technical specs
Thorough understanding of software engineering principles and standards
System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts/processes
Understanding of database design methodologies, data modeling & data analysis
Experience developing applications in a multi-tier architecture
Highly motivated, team player.
