Housing Supervision Executive Director Of Operations
The candidate will work closely with other staff in the Division and agency to refine internal processes and systems, and acts as a resource to managing agents, Boards of Directors and team members in implementing sound asset management practices to facilitate long term stewardship. Will be expected to be a leader with a diverse set of skills in meeting key commitments to internal and external partners. Responsibilities: Provide strategic direction for mission- and business-critical operations related to compliance and preservation; capitalize on and deepen stakeholder relationships in order to actively and consistently pursue Mitchell-Lama preservation opportunities. Supervise the Executive Director of the Mitchell-Lama Portfolio and Waiting List team on matters of broad Divisional interest, including responses to audits of the Division, management of ongoing compliance, communication with Mitchell-Lama Boards and stakeholders, and efforts to preserve and extend Mitchell-Lama affordability. Create tools and resources to improve existing workflow tracking systems, and develop or enhance compliance methodologies as applicable; support implementation of new technology. Serve as Deputy to the Assistant Commissioner; specifically, represent the Assistant Commissioner at internal and external meetings, and provide support in preparing presentations, policy briefings, and other technical communications. Should have significant experience in program operations, ideally in an asset management or property management context; strong capacity for communication between and among levels of management and staff. Should have strong background in compliance and analytics with focus on developing efficiency models across business units. Legal background useful. Must have 4 Year Degree.
