Java Developer Mobile Development

Profile

This is an EXCELLENT position for a developer with iOS and Android experience. This is a W2 position and c2c candidates will not be considered at this time.
The team is looking for mid to senior level developers. The candidates should have at least 6 years experience in application development in general and 2 years in mobile development. The team is supporting products on diverse platforms, mainly, iOS, Android and server side Java technologies. An ideal candidate should be proficient in one of these three areas and have exposed to the rest one or two.

Required Skills:
· Expert in either Java or Objective-C
· Good object oriented programming (OOA & OOD) skills
· Well versed in design patterns and principles
· Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment with weekly deliveries.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain technical issues to peers and non-technical audience
· Good knowledge of IT concepts, terminology, practices, tools, and technology
· Understand and practice Test Driven Development
· Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse or Xcode
· Knowledge of Continuous Integration concept
Desired Skills:
· Have experience with Perforce, Maven and Jenkins (similar technologies are OK)
· Knowledge with mobile web technologies such as hybrid approach
· Knowledge in Database and SQL
· Knowledge with Service Oriented Architecture and RESTful service
· Familiarity with metadata schema formats like JSON, XSD, XML
· Knowledge of front-end technology including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript is a plus
