The candidate will lead and manage a team of attorneys and work on a large variety of legal issues regarding the design, implementation, and maintenance of Progressive’s personal lines products. Will handle matters of significant legal complexity and will be a subject matter expert in the area of product design. Should have Juris Doctorate degree. Must have active license to practice law in at least one state; Active or Corporate license in state where working. 8 years of legal experience/training is required. should preferable have Management experience. should preferable have Product design and/or other regulatory compliance experience in the insurance industry. Must have sound analytical, problem solving, risk assessment, negotiation and legal skills. Experience researching and applying laws to complex business circumstances is desired.
