Grant Specialist (OSP 15-0105)
The candidate will provide direct internal and external support services by reviewing contract agreements and other award documents including clinical trials. Will review documents and contracts, and negotiate any unacceptable terms and conditions. Should have Bachelor’s degree in a business related field, and 2 years’ related experience working with and interpreting federal regulations, including a working knowledge of export control laws and regulations. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Evidence of recent attendance at any course or workshop dealing with research proposal development, 2 CFR 200, or any course related to grant/contract management or negotiation is preferred. A master’s degree or a juris doctor from a US American Bar Association-accredited law school is also preferable.
