The Email and Digital Marketing Specialist owns the organization’s email marketing best practices, audience segmentation, A/B testing and template optimization, and assists with wider digital marketing efforts while demonstrating CPM’s values of integrity, community, innovation and diversity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES 
Develop a cohesive email customer journey, keeping content, marketing and philanthropy needs in mind, with the ultimate goal of donation conversion
Use automation to trigger customer journey and event-based sends
Administer the organization-wide email marketing calendar, escalate scheduling conflicts as necessary
Create and optimize email templates through Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Regularly benchmark email performance through A/B testing, conversion, engagement and retention rate
Troubleshoot email campaign issues and manage list hygiene
Build, edit and send KCTS 9 newsletter(s)
Actively work to grow email database through organic campaigns; support Marketing Manager and digital agency in paid acquisition campaigns
Optimize existing email products and make recommendations for improvements
Subject matter expert in email best practices and stay current with trends and innovations
Collaborate with Philanthropy, Sponsorship, Events and Audience Engagement teams to align overall email strategy with goals
Support Marketing Manager on digital marketing channels and assist with new initiatives as needed Coordinate with the Data and Analytics team for reporting
Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of the CPM

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Marketing automation experience
Experience with Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud strongly preferred
Deep understanding of email success metrics, analytics and reporting
Strong writing and editing skills with ability to proofread content
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field required or equivalent experience
Minimum of three years of experience overseeing an enterprise level email marketing program required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to view data on a computer screen for long periods of time
Ability to regularly type on a keyboard
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
