Assistant General Counsel – Project Finance/Business Development
The candidate will be providing legal advice to Crusoe’s business development team and supporting Crusoe’s manufacturing and procurement operations. Be working with a cross-functional team to develop and support the continued growth of the Company’s business and operations. Negotiation of renewable, efficiency and infrastructure transactions. Provide legal support to Crusoe manufacturing and procure on all transactions. Assist on certain loan and asset backed financing transactions. Negotiate international agreements with prospective customers. Manage outside counsel assisting with renewable transactions. Juris Doctor Degree and be a member (in good standing) of at least one State Bar. Minimum five years of legal experience. Experience in private energy and infrastructure acquisition, disposition, and finance transactions. Experience in project finance, corporate finance, and debt capital markets. Experience in joint venture agreements. Experience in public private partnerships, public procurement processes, and international transactions. Proven ability to be flexible and work well independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple, competing priorities, and maintaining a strong focus on detail. Strong analytical skills, creativity, and significant experience in analyzing and providing practical, effective solutions to significant, complex transactions and issues. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external parties, as well as across language and cultural barriers. Must possess the self-confidence to make decisions and follow through with peers and management. Ability to lead, organize and coordinate committees, work groups, project teams. Strong interpersonal skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate. Ability to prioritize work and to work in situations with multiple, simultaneous demands. Ability to maximize results using limited resources. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
