Operations Analyst Intern

Job Summary:
The Operations Intern will directly support senior level executives of a 5,000-unit Real Estate Property Management in all internal and external initiatives. This individual works behind the scenes to solve problems and supports in any way, including special projects and ownership of administrative functions.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist theOperations Team in managing projects to ensure objectives are met and timely completion
Assistin the development and implementation of operational policies and processes
Responsible for identifying resources needed; monitoring project activities; identifying issues and risks; and monitoring and reporting project status
Interface with internal departments to document and analyze current and future state business processes and recommend improvements
Facilitate the development of processes and knowledge sharing capabilities
Oversee travel logistics, including scheduling and calendars, and arranging meetings and ensuring necessary background information provided for all activities
Special tasks include meeting with outside partners; begin initiatives and hand off to new hires or executives
Manage miscellaneous tasks
Conduct market research in order to better serve the current and future needs of Operations
Qualifications and Requirements:
Preference for juniors entering senior year of college
Startup experience or sincere interest in Real Estate
Diligent, responsible, and forthright
Proactive and resourceful in executing vague or open-ended directives
High level of discretion; judgment; diplomacy, and analytical ability
Excellent administrative and organizational skills
Concise, professional, and effective interpersonal, written and oral communication ability
