The candidate will have following duties: Provide individual career counseling and job search resources to students and alumni; Maintain career counseling notes and updated student profile information on Symplicity; Recruit for, advertise, and coordinate an effective mock interview program throughout the year; Recruit for, advertise, and coordinate an effective 1L Mentorship Program and 2L/3L e-mentoring program; Maintain primary responsibility for the Diversity Fellowship and Diversity Hiring Outreach Program; Assist Director in planning and implementing innovative and engaging CPD programming, involving student group leaders as appropriate; Keep written career materials updated including Symplicity Documents library materials, handouts, and in-office library. Make recommendations to Director regarding new acquisitions; Review, revise, and provide feedback to law students and alumni on their application materials, as needed; Actively participate in evening and weekend activities as required; Provide office coverage and participate in daily running of office, as needed; Participate on law school, statewide, and national committees as required; Perform other duties as assigned in support of University School of Law’s mission. Should have Juris Doctor with 3 years work experience as an attorney; or Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years work experience in law firm or legal agency recruitment and professional development. Work experience in higher education is preferred.
