Profile

: Located in beautiful Sedona, AZ, Sedona Charter School, a K-8th public charter, seeks an energetic and visionary, full-time Director of Suzuki Strings and Orchestral Studies. Deliver strings instruction to students in all grades in our brand new, state of the art Performing Arts Classroom.
Duties
: Teach bi-weekly small group Suzuki violin classes to K-3rd grade students, and bi-weekly small group Suzuki classes to all 4th-8th grade students on chosen instrument (violin, viola, cello). Conduct orchestras and ensembles and lead all school performances and community events for strings program.
Qualifications
: Minimum BM in Music Education/ Suzuki Pedagogy, MM preferred. Registered SAA books 1-4. AZ Teacher Cert. preferred. Successful prior teaching experience in group instruction at appropriate age levels and possesses strong classroom management, organization and communication skills.
