Certified Medical Assistant - Lab (FT)','Full-time','Clinical Support','8 hour shifts','8 hour shifts','80','80','Occasional','Occasional','MINNESOTA-LITTLE FALLS-ST GABRIEL'S HOSPITAL','','!*!The person serving in the position of CMA is responsible under direct or indirect supervision, for performing a variety of clerical and phlebotomy functions.  The CMA must properly collect, handle, process and store specimens that include reference and in-house testing. This includes specimens from all entities of Unity Family and long term Nursing facilities we service. Medical Assistants must be able function effectively in both the Sunquest and EPIC computerized information systems.  The CMA will also assist with other laboratory functions as needed including the performance of waived testing.  The populations served include neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics.','!*!


Education and Training (required and preferred):  Must have completed an approved one or two-year program as a Medical Assistant or have equivalent knowledge as defined by federal/state regulations.  Certification of MA-C must be by a recognized certifying agency.   
 

Experience (required and preferred):  Six-twelve months experience some of which is specific laboratory experience which may include an internship program.','We’re an equal opportunity employer.
