BioMarin’s Research & Development group is responsible for everything from research and discovery to post-market clinical development. Research & Development involves all bench and clinical research and the associated groups that support those endeavors. DUTIES:Assist with the development and implementation of new business processes to increase efficiencyAddress stakeholder questions, prepare and perform training when neededDevelop detailed project plans ensuring technical feasibility when needed and track progressPrioritize and ensure all deliverables/projects are completed on-time and within scopePerform lessons learned using appropriate systems, tools and techniquesEstablish and manage relationships with key stakeholders and third parties/vendors – act as the go betweenCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentationReact promptly to all system updates & maintenance requestsPerform analysis on program data/systems and provide high-level summary and recommendationsPrepare visually appealing and easy to understand Powerpoint slides for various stakeholder presentationsComfortable scheduling and managing meetings, recording minutes and follow-up on action itemsSKILLS:Must be a self-starter, have initiative and strong problem-solving skillsCollaborative work style and open to doing things in new and better waysProven work experience as a project administrator in the biotech industry and/or information technology sectorComfortable with technology, with an understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint, as well as website design and maintenanceEDUCATION:College degree PLEASE NOTE: Absent a Medical or Religious reason that prohibits vaccinations, all our incoming employees must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
