As our Senior Software Engineer,
you will be responsible for architecting and implementing the next generation of Geek Squad applications. You will be using Cloud Native technologies, DevOps principles, and Agile practices to deliver industry-leading solutions at high velocity and unrivaled quality.
The Senior Software Engineer will be part of the Geek Squad Services Technology Team that is responsible for building React components, microservices, and React components that provide the best digital experience for our employees.

Key position responsibilities include:
Develop front end components and libraries in JavaScript leveraging frameworks like React, Redux, Node JS, and so on.
Develop, test, and maintain microservices and REST APIs in Java leveraging technologies like Spring and/or dotnet core.
Drive architecture and design sessions to build out new applications and services and make existing systems better as they evolve.
Write meaningful test cases to test the application at various levels including unit test, functional test, performance test, regression test, and load test – leveraging tools and technologies like JUnit, Spock, Cucumber, Selenium, JMeter, and so on.
Work closely with test engineers to help build test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Help and mentor other engineers on the team in a technical capacity.
Required Qualifications
3 or more years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent relevant professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of relevant experience architecting and building UI components and libraries using Reach, Redux, and Node JS
3 or more years of relevant experience architecting and building microservices/API’s using Java and/or dot net core
3 or more years of experience working in an agile and continuous delivery environment
Experience using Azure Managed Services / Paas
Experience using GraphQL
Experience in modern architecture practices include microservices architecture, event–driven architecture, etc.,
