IT Application Development Manager

EnerNOC, a leading provider of demand response and energy efficiency solutions, has an immediate opening for an IT Applications Development Manager to lead the highly customized development of our Demand Response Settlement systems. The IT Applications Development Manager will lead a five-person team to forge new technologies and drive transformational change to enable and advance our business. We are seeking the highest quality candidates to fill a critical and multi-faceted role that requires an equal weighting of technical leadership, product management and team leadership.
Our Settlements system is at the center of the Demand Response business’ core value proposition for our C&I customers, which is the compensation they receive for participating in Demand Response programs. The successful candidate will develop a deep knowledge of these core business processes and then lead a team to articulate a vision for how our systems should evolve and grow, analyze and document business needs and processes, invent how they can be best integrated with upstream and downstream systems, and guide our agile application development process.
Skills & Requirements:
• BA/BS in computer science or other related field. Masters preferred.
• 10 years experience analyzing, developing and maintaining custom business applications (mostly Java, Web Services, .NET, SQL using Agile)
• 3-5 years experience managing a team of application developers
