Corporate Counsel – Healthcare
The candidate responsibilities include: Analyze privacy issues posed by HIPAA, CCPA and GDPR, including DPAs. Provide guidance to the Sales organization by addressing all contract issues along with redlining and negotiating sales contracts. Analyze and negotiate contracts (business, customer, research, payer, software license etc.). Assist with the Company’s corporate compliance program. Should preferable have an attorney admitted to the Illinois Bar with health law and medical device knowledge and experience. 5 years experience of law firm and/or in-house counsel experience is required. Must have Health law experience with strong background in patient data and privacy-related matters is a must, including HIPAA, CCPA and GDPR. Ideally, experience also includes some or all of the following:. Fraud and Abuse laws (AKS, Stark, FCA). Compliance. IP. Data Privacy. Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools is required. Must have proven legal research skills. Experience with public speaking is required.
