Applications Operation Specialist
The candidate will install, configure and maintain network & infrastructure components (hardware and software) supporting client needs. Assist and provide customer service to clients in initial setup of end-user information systems, support to clients, troubleshoot problems, maintain overall systems integrity, stability and operational uptime. Provide responsive, high-quality end-user information systems support (on clients site and/or by phone) as needed. Perform application support to clients including analysis, documentation, system management (jobs, errors, security) and troubleshooting. Monitor the Firms and client's application of operational Fine and Fee projects for optimal performance that meets the client's needs. Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill. Other duties and projects as assigned. Good understanding of related hardware and software systems interconnectivity and interdependency required. Ability to utilize complex computer operations (intermediate programming in languages, relational databases, and operating systems) and advanced features of software packages (data base, word-processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.) required. Ability to comprehend business problems and needs and understand their interrelationships with IT systems to recommend, design and implement appropriate effective solutions to clients required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals required. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Partners, managers, clients and potential clients required. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference required. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations required. Proficient working knowledge of personal computers and the office 365 application programs required. Ability to recommend and coordinates implementation of changes in processing procedures required. Coordinates the processing of testing procedures for new and modified applications and software systems. Excellent customer service and communication skills to provide optimal customer satisfaction required. Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities required. Ability to learn new applications and technologies required. Associate degree (A. A.) in Information sciences or computer technology or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
