Job Summary
We are looking for Caregivers to fill full and part time openings in Levittown. We have day, evening, and overnight shifts available immediately. When you become a member of our team, you are also becoming part of our family and we will do whatever we can to make you feel at home. At Visiting Angels,
we recognize our frontline caregivers for their hard work and dedication!! While you are assisting individuals to meet their daily needs, you will also be building relationships and striving to improve their quality of life. You will not only go home each day feeling proud of yourself for putting another individual’s needs before your own, but you will also be recognized and rewarded for this selfless act!!
We are currently following CDC safety guidelines and providing our caregivers with proper safety equipment.

Requirements
Experience
At least one full year of verifiable caregiving experience.
Valid Driver’s License
Reliable Vehicle
readily available to you with proof of current insurance.
PPD
(2 step) or Chest X-Ray
Skills
We are looking for individuals that can adapt accordingly, have cared for individuals with multiple levels of functionality, are compassionate and will care for individuals like they were their own family.
Characteristics
must be self-motivated and able to perform all duties with minimal supervision and direction.
Responsibilities
Assist
with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, medication reminders, etc…)
Encourage
clients to participate in daily activities as tolerated to promote the best quality of life and give them the dignity they deserve.
Listen
and engage with clients appropriately to build trusting relationships with them.
Prepare
meals and/or snacks.
Tidying
up the house and other light housekeeping duties that promote a clean, healthy and safe environment.
Transporting
client as needed to appointments and/or any errands they may need to run throughout the day of care.
Observing
client’s physical, emotional and mental well-being.
Communicating
with Visiting Angels staff of any/all updates related to the client.
