Mobile is a key focus for IBM, with the IBM Worklight mobile application platform in the heart of IBM's exciting mobile initiative. The IBM Worklight Product Design team is expanding and looking for top performers that can help defining the future IBM mobile offerings and create valuable and engaging new products customers will love to use.
Job description
Interaction designers will craft intuitive interactions and workflows informed by market and user research.
Qualifications
Excellent understanding of mobile design and interaction; Proven experience in this domain is an advantage
An advantage: Experience in web and native mobile application development, at least on iOS and Android
Formal education and experience in visual, interactive, UX or industrial design
Strong foundation in industry standard design processes, methods, and tools
Strong, innovative vision supported by a disciplined attention to detail
Ability to work within a cross-functional team and handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal interaction skills
Knowledge of HTML and CSS
Ability to work with remote teams
Required
* Bachelor's Degree
* Readiness to travel 10% travel annually
* English: Fluent
NOTE: This role can be located in any large metropolitan US City.
